Job summary

Kana Hotel Group is seeking a meticulous Laundry Attendant to support our housekeeping team in Duluth, GA. You will load and run laundry cycles, monitor detergents, and ensure linens are cleaned and stocked for daily guest needs.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, stacking linen, and keeping laundry areas secure and organized. Prior experience with laundry equipment is preferred and customer service skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous experience with washer/dryer equipment required.
• Able to work independently.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washers and dryers.
• Understand and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents.
• Operate the washer and dryer controls.
• Clean the lint in the dryer filters twice a day.
• Transfers all linens from washer to dryer and starts new loads as needed.
• Ensure storage & laundry rooms are locked before clocking out.
• Remove laundry from chutes & carts; presort linens to locate stained items.
• Maintain count of discarded items.
• Fold & stack towels, sheets, and other linens.
• Clean storeroom & laundry area.
• Process damaged linen.
• Ensure sufficient linens on each floor and stock each floor.
• Other duties as assigned.
