Kana Hotel Group in Newnan, GA is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeper to maintain clean and welcoming guest spaces. You will manage laundry tasks, prepare linens, and support room readiness with attention to detail and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, prior housekeeping or laundry experience, and the ability to work independently while delivering friendly, guest-focused service. We offer benefits and growth opportunities within a service-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Washer/dryer equipment experience required.
• Able to work independently and provide friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washers and dryers.
• Understand and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents.
• Operate the washer and dryer controls.
• Clean the lint in the dryer filters twice a day.
• Transfers all linens already in the washer to the dryer immediately upon completion of the first washing cycle, put a new load in the washer and performs the basic duties upon completion of the first drying cycle
• Ensures that all storage & laundry rooms are locked before clocking out
• Removes laundry from chutes & carts; presorts linens to locate stained or torn items
• Maintain count of discarded items
• Fold & stack towels, sheets, and other linens
• Clean storeroom & laundry area
• Process damaged linen
• Make sure there are enough linens per floor and stocks each floor
• Other duties as assigned
