Pyramid Global Hospitality in Hanover, NH seeks a dependable dishwasher for The Hanover Inn. You will maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, and prep areas while upholding safety standards and sanitary conditions.

Ideal candidates read and follow simple instructions, can stand long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend and holiday availability is required as needed. Compensation ranges hourly with a commitment to equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school education; or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Scrapes/rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures. Let dry completely before storing or reusing.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all outlined safety procedures, up to and including use of cut gloves when handling and cleaning knives.
• Maintain and track temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Clean and maintain dish area in an orderly manner to include mats, clear walkway and in compliance with all other safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surface as assigned.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• May assist with loading or unloading supplies and product. May be required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
