Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a dedicated dishwasher for The Hanover Inn in Hanover, NH. The role supports the kitchen by keeping dishes, pots, and utensils clean and organized, ensuring sanitation standards are met across shifts.

You will handle washing tasks, maintain safe work areas, and assist with loading supplies as needed. Weekend and holiday availability is required; prior hotel or food-service experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Scrapes/rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays; ensure cleanliness and sanitation; let dry before storing or reusing.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including use of cut gloves when handling knives.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels per standards and notify supervisor if off.
• Clean and maintain dish area; keep mats clear and safe.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates/removes trash and garbage; dispose properly.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas with safe lifting.
• May assist with loading/unloading supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned; support weekend/holiday availability.

About Our Property

The Hanover Inn has a rich legacy of hospitality stretching all the way back to its humble beginning back in 1780 when the Inn first welcomed guests as a Tavern. Notable guests have included Presidents Monroe, Wilson, F.D.R., Eisenhower, Nixon, and Reagan. George Washington did not sleep at the inn but Booker T. Washington did. What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

Summary: Maintains china/dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes/rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Let dry completely before storing or reusing.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with all outlined safety procedures, up to and including use of cut gloves when handling and cleaning knives.
• Maintain and track temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Let supervisor know in a timely manner if levels are off.
• Clean and maintain dish area in an orderly manner to include mats, clear walkway and in compliance with all other safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surface as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• May assist with loading or unloading supplies and product.
• Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
