The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection in Spokane is seeking a dedicated Steward to support our culinary team and keep the kitchen clean and organized. This role involves washing dishes, maintaining sanitary dish areas, and aiding in basic food prep as needed.

We value detail, speed, and a positive team attitude. Candidates should be able to lift 25+ pounds, work weekends/holidays, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Wage is USD 17.13 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• WA State Food Handler's Card
• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Support the culinary team by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of food and supplies
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow
• Display a positive and energetic attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and attention to detail
