Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen.
• Must possess the necessary Food Handlers Certification.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work quickly and safely in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all glassware, silverware, plates, pots, pans, and cooking utensils used by the culinary and banquet teams.
• Clean and polish silver and copper items, including chafers, trays, coffee pots, tea pots, goose necks, and water pitchers.
• Organize and store clean items in their proper locations with care and consistency.
• Empty all kitchen and prep-area trash cans and dispose of cardboard used by culinary staff.
• Deep-clean dish machines weekly and maintain them regularly.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment as directed by the direct report(s).
