Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Standing up and moving about the kitchen or other designated areas.
• Handling objects, products, chemicals, cleaning supplies and utensils.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up work station as required, including dish machine prep, checking chemicals, and gathering equipment.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with Catering, Banquets, Outlets and Maintenance.
• Check equipment working condition and report hazards or emergencies to supervisor.
• Clean designated equipment and areas, dispose of waste and follow cleaning procedures.
• Empty trash, transport garbage to dump site, and observe recycling rules.
• Set up and monitor the pot sink according to procedures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors at end of shifts or after spills.
• Monitor chemicals and water temperature; keep work area clean and organized.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
