Job summary

Courtyard North Charleston is hiring a Cook for the restaurant operation. You will prepare meals per brand standards, keep the kitchen clean, and ensure safe food handling while supporting timely guest service at the hotel.

Must be flexible with shifts, provide friendly guest service, and follow instructions to meet daily deadlines. The role offers weekly pay and benefits after a probation period as part of MCR’s hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Work experience in hospitality or restaurant kitchen preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Always provide friendly service with a smile to guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must clock in on time for every shift and follow scheduling rules.
• Provide notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation according to brand standards and guidelines.
• Comply with Food Handlers Safety Training and related certifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas.
• Complete necessary food and station preparations before opening to ensure prompt service.
• Know the location and operation of all safety equipment.
• Assist in storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
