Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Texas is hiring a Cook to deliver high-quality meals across restaurant dining, breakfast operations, banquets, and events. You will prepare and present menu items with consistency, support daily kitchen operations, and work with a collaborative culinary team to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires a Texas Food Safety Certification and prior kitchen or hospitality experience. Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Texas Food Safety Certification required or pending.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant/hotel kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to recipes and standards.
• Support daily kitchen operations across restaurant dining, breakfast, banquets, and events.
• Assist with food prep including chopping, prepping ingredients, cooking and plating.
• Maintain consistency and presentation across all items.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, stocked, and safe.
• Follow HACCP and health department guidelines at all times.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to culinary leadership.
• Collaborate with chefs and F&B staff to deliver guest experiences.
• Assist with minimizing waste and improving kitchen efficiency.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture.
