Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an onsite IT support professional in Colorado to handle hotel-specific IT services and customer-facing technical support. You will design wireless networks, manage VLANs, and troubleshoot routers/switches while maintaining servers and documentation.

The role requires independent problem solving, 2+ years in IT support, and experience with hotel systems, cloud technologies, and DHCP/DNS/IP protocols. Onsite collaboration with hotel staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Proactive and independent IT technical expert.
• Experience with hotel applications and systems.
• Ability to create VLAN's, port assignments, wireless network design.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Workstation/server hardware, Routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Cloud and virtualization-based technologies knowledge.
• Advanced understanding of DHCP, DNS, and IP protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs., pull cables, tie up wires, crawl on floors.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an onsite presence and representation for IT services.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness.
• Consult with customers on all technical support issues.
• Make independent decisions and recommendations.
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and wireless solutions.
• Create and manage technical site documentation.
• Independently restore files/servers from backups.
• Work with hotel engineering staff during power failures.
