Job summary

The Olympia Companies are seeking a reliable hotel housekeeping associate to maintain clean guestrooms and public areas. You will remove and replace linen, deliver supplies, and assist with cleaning tasks across lobby, pool, and outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities include cleaning windows, restrooms, floors, and high-traffic surfaces while ensuring safety and efficiency. This role requires walking/standing for shifts and light physical labor; pay and benefits are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Requires walking and standing for an entire shift.
• Requires ability to perform light physical labor: Lifting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, and Handling.

Responsibilities

• Removes dirty linen and trash from guestrooms for room attendants.
• Delivers clean linen and supplies to room attendants as needed.
• Assists with cleaning guestrooms as needed.
• Empties all trash receptacles and ashtrays in corridors and public areas.
• Cleans all outside area walkways; sweeps stairways and landings; cleans railings and washes all EXIT doors.
• Washes windows as per schedule.
• Cleans elevators, tracks, chrome, and stainless steel.
• Spot-cleans walls and door
• Wipes baseboards, railings, phones, walls, and vending areas.
• Vacuums all public area rugs and public space corridors and shampoos carpets.
• Polishes/cleans lobby floor as per schedule.
• Checks lobby area and public restrooms frequently for cleanliness and replenish especially when functions are being held.
• Cleans public restrooms
• Cleans lobby
• Cleans pool area
• Cleans outdoor space including patio, parking lot, and walk ways
• Assists with special preventative maintenance projects as needed
