Job summary

Hampton Inn Boston-Logan Airport is seeking a dependable Houseperson to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment for guests. You will help keep guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces tidy while supporting the room attendants.

This role offers growth through the Management Development Program and opportunities to advance to supervisory positions. We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Previous hotel or similar experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person!
• Previous brand experience is a plus.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout guest floors, hallways, restrooms, and public areas.
• Vacuum carpets, clean upholstery, dust surfaces, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
• Collect and remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors and service areas.
• Stock housekeeping closets and carts with clean linens, towels, and supplies.
• Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
• Assist Room Attendants with cleaning and other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Report lost and found items, maintenance concerns, and damaged property to supervisors.
• Respond to guests and colleagues in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, uniform, and appearance standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
