Job summary

Three Rivers Casino in Florence, OR is seeking a Hotel Housekeeping Associate to maintain guest rooms and public areas with a strong guest-service focus.

Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with full-time/part-time shifts available. This role requires 18+ years of age, reliable attendance, and the ability to obtain a CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission license.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
• Must work cooperatively, with a positive attitude in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
• Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

Responsibilities

• Knock and strips bedding, removing soiled lines.
• Provides stayover services.
• Performs removal of room service items.
• Cleans and vacuums hallways, lobbies, elevators, and common areas.
• Empties trash from trash cans, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee station, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting.
• Replenishes and stocks linen rooms and housekeeping supplies.
• Assists with housekeeping inventories as needed.
• Responds to and notifies Housekeeping Team Lead of all guest requests or complaints.
• Addresses guests with a positive upbeat attitude, providing the highest level of guest service according to TRCR's service commitments.
• Assists with special projects within the Hotel.
• Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. Regularly exposed to dust and fumes from cleaning chemicals while moving between hot and cold environments. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours.
