• Restock guest room attendant carts with linens, amenities and supplies
• Vacuum hallways and clean assigned common areas
• Prepare rollaway beds, playpens and other guest-requested items
• Deliver linens, towels, amenities and other items to guest rooms
• Respond promptly to guest and housekeeping requests
• Assist Room Attendants and other housekeeping team members
• Assist with special cleaning projects and other assigned duties

Job Location: Florence, OR 97439
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Starting Wage: $17.00 hour

The Floor Attendant supports Hotel Housekeeping operations by stocking supplies, delivering requested items, and assisting with cleaning and room preparation as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stocks and maintains linen closets and housekeeping supply areas.
• Removes trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
• Assists with making beds and preparing guest rooms as needed.
• Restocks Guest Room Attendant carts with linens, amenities, and supplies.
• Vacuums hallways and cleans assigned common areas.
• Prepares rollaway beds, playpens, and other guest-requested items.
• Delivers linens, towels, amenities, and other requested items to guest rooms.
• Responds promptly and professionally to guest and housekeeping requests.
• Assists Room Attendants and other housekeeping Team Members as needed.
• Assists with special cleaning projects and other assigned duties.
• Other duties as directed by management.

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. Regularly exposed to dust and fumes from cleaning chemicals while moving between hot and cold environments. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY

• Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
• Must work cooperatively, with a positive attitude in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
• Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours.
• Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with assistance as needed.
