Job summary

Three Rivers Casino Resort in Florence, Oregon is seeking a friendly Housekeeping Associate to maintain clean guest rooms and public areas. You will strip beds, replace linens, handle stayovers, remove room-service items, and keep hallways, lobbies, elevators, and common spaces tidy and safe.

Applicants must be 18+, able to pass alcohol/drug testing, communicate in English, and be available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. A valid CTCLUSI tribal gaming license will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Compliance with pre-employment alcohol and drug testing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Responds to and notifies Housekeeping Team Lead of all guest requests or complaints.
• Addresses guests with a positive upbeat attitude, providing the highest level of guest service according to TRCR's service commitments.
• Assists with special projects within the Hotel.
• Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. Regularly exposed to dust and fumes from cleaning chemicals while moving between hot and cold environments. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY

• Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
• Must work cooperatively, with a positive attitude in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
• Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours.
• Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with assistance as needed.
