Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Assist in hiring, training, and supervising housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housekeepers, and janitors.
• Schedule planning: Give suggestions on work schedules and assign tasks to ensure coverage and efficiency.
• Training: Conduct regular sessions on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
• Feedback: Provide feedback to staff on performance as needed.
• Conflict resolution: Address employee issues or conflicts that may arise.
• Quality Control: Inspect guest rooms and common areas for cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Maintenance coordination: Identify maintenance needs in guest spaces and report appropriately.
• Supply control: Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain cost efficiency.
• Guest relations: Address complaints related to housekeeping and resolve promptly.
• Safety: Enforce PPE use and safety protocols to comply with regulations.
