Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lexington in Kentucky is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations and uphold the hotel’s cleanliness and safety standards.

You will supervise room attendants and housekeeping staff, coordinate schedules, train on cleaning techniques and safety, handle guest concerns, and collaborate with front desk and maintenance to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role includes hotel benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education is required; hospitality-focused schooling preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to operate computer and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping staff and operations to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Assist in hiring, training and supervising staff; schedule tasks for coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct regular training on cleaning techniques, safety protocols and guest service.
• Provide feedback on performance and address employee issues or conflicts.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for adherence to standards; identify maintenance needs.
• Enforce PPE use and health/safety regulations; ensure compliance with policies.
