Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain a safe, clean environment for guests, associates, and vendors. You will provide direction and support to the housekeeping team and ensure high standards throughout the property.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, interviewing and training, inspecting rooms and public areas, managing supplies, responding to guest requests, and enforcing health and safety procedures to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; provide training and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train and evaluate staff; enforce discipline as needed.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service and public areas.
• Assign shifts, manage supplies and control inventory.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Log Lost and Found items and support emergency procedures.
• Comply with attendance rules and perform other duties as assigned.
