Responsibilities

Our Housekeeping Supervisor supervises the housekeeping, laundry and public area staff, providing a respectful, friendly and fun work environment.

Manages the housekeeping department in the Executive Housekeeper’s absence

Maintains property, laundry and public areas systems and checklists

Ensures the compliance of health and safety standards

Maintains key control procedure and daily verification of all keys in department

Adheres to department guidelines for employee scheduling, breaks and meal periods

Assists in daily room inspections

Performs all primary housekeeping related tasks including laundry, rooms, and public areas cleaning

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 1 year of hotel housekeeping experience and 1 year of supervisory experience

Must be able to work weekends and during the day

Must be Bilingual English/Spanish

Strong oral and interpersonal skills

Team player attitude to ensure a smooth property operation

Strong attention to detail

Reliability and honesty

Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
