Holiday Inn South Plainfield-Piscataway is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in hotel housekeeping, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimal of two years of housekeeping experience in a full-service hotel.
• Previous inspection or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and cleaning standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel property management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure compliance with hotel quality standards.
• Verify that guest rooms are clean, sanitary, and fully stocked with linens, towels, and amenities.
• Identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged furnishings and report them to the appropriate department.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures and inspection standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally.
