Job summary

The Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington Christiana is seeking a dependable Houseperson to join our team. You will help keep the hotel clean, organized, and running smoothly by assisting housekeeping and maintenance, delivering linens, and responding to guest needs.

Ideal candidates are dependable, punctual, and comfortable with a busy, active environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required based on hotel needs, and previous hotel or maintenance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus, showing a strong work ethic and willingness to help on demand.
• Dependable and punctual with a hands‑on approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hotel team.

Responsibilities

• Support housekeeping with linens, supplies, cleaning, and room needs.
• Collect, transport, and distribute linens throughout the hotel.
• Keep public and back‑of‑house areas clean and organized.
• Remove trash and restock supplies as needed.
• Move furniture and equipment; assist with basic maintenance tasks.
• Help with event setup/breakdown and guest requests.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
