The Grand Beach Hotel in Surfside, FL is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping and front office operations. You will manage labor, inventory, and guest-room standards to ensure a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Candidate must have 2–3 years of management experience in a large hotel housekeeping environment, plus strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Flexible schedule, weekends and holidays, are required.

Formación

• Two to three years of management experience in large, fast paced hotel housekeeping.
• Ability to maintain efficient operating and control processes to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Strong management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret documents.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to apply common sense to written or oral instructions.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of guests and team members.
• Able to push, stand, bend and lift up to 25 pounds repetitively.
• Works flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee smooth, cost-effective operation of the Housekeeping Department including labor management and inventory control.
• Prepare daily work schedules to meet occupancy and room turn demands.
• Analyze room turn data and adjust staffing or procedures as needed.
• Manage Housekeeping Rooms personnel and supervise room attendants.
• Ensure aggressive cleaning of vacant rooms during tight turns and assist on guest floors.
• Act as Executive Housekeeper in absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Inspect hotel condition daily for cleanliness and repairs.
