Island View Casino Resort is seeking an Hotel Housekeeping Houseperson to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, corridors, lobbies and public areas. You will vacuum, mop, dust, and wipe surfaces to meet our hygiene standards while handling trash and minor tasks as directed.

The role requires basic knowledge of housekeeping equipment, strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Full-time employment with hourly pay is offered at Island View Casino Resort.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of equipment used such as handheld radios, vacuum machines and linen carts.
• Good communication, organizational and guest service skills.

Responsabilités

• Clean assigned areas including guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, public areas and back-of-house areas to meet cleanliness standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and polish floors; dust and wipe surfaces including furniture, fixtures, windowsills and baseboards.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

The Hotel Housekeeping HOUSEPERSONis responsible for cleaningand maintainingassigned areas, including guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, public areas, and back-of-house areas, ensuring established standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met.

Otther duties include but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors regularly to remove dirt, debris, and stains, dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and baseboards, to maintain a clean and attractive appearance, empties trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary, and performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Position Requirements

• Prior Housekeeping experience prefered.
• Must be 21 years of age older.
• Possesses good communication, organizational and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of equipment used such as: Hand held radios, vacuum machines and linen carts.

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time

Pay Rate 13.00
