Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for the Courtyard By Marriott/Towneplace Suites in Hawthorne, CA. The role requires cleaning guest rooms and public areas to high standards and assisting the laundry department as needed.

The position demands physical stamina, the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and adherence to safety and cleanliness guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or cleaning standards.
• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles.
• Must have vision to see minute debris in poorly lit areas.
• Must have upper body strength to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas by established standards of cleanliness.
• Replaces towels and restocks amenities in guest rooms.
• Vacuum rooms, public areas and hallways to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Check locks and report unsafe situations to management.
• Assist laundry and other departments as needed.
