Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Gainesville, FL is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and public areas in line with Marriott Courtyard standards.

You will clean rooms, change linens, restock towels, assist with laundry, and report maintenance issues promptly while delivering friendly guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hotel preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms daily including making beds and changing linens.
• Dust furniture, vacuum floors, and clean bathrooms.
• Replenish towels and guest amenities; remove trash and soiled linens.
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts and report maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with laundry or public area cleaning as needed.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and security procedures.

Position Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, attractive, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas while providing excellent guest service in accordance with Marriott Courtyard brand standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms daily including:
• Making beds
• Changing linens
• Dusting furniture
• Vacuuming floors and hallways
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Replenishing towels and guest amenities
• Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms and housekeeping carts
• Ensure all rooms meet Marriott cleanliness and presentation standards
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures
• Assist with laundry duties or public area cleaning when needed
• Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required
