Job summary

Arbor Lodging is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant in Salt Lake City to clean and service guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay for guests. You will make beds, dust, replenish supplies, and maintain bathrooms and public areas to a high standard.

Ability to lift 50 lbs, work independently or with a team, and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism is required. Prior hotel experience and familiarity with cleaning equipment are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for cleaning.
• Make beds.
• Dust rooms and furniture.
• Replenish guestroom and bathroom supplies.
• Clean the bathroom.
• Clean the closet.
• Vacuum and rack the carpet.
• Check and secure the rooms.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g. iron and ironing boards).
• Ensure public areas are cleaned and orderly.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Work independently or with a team.
• Handle guest calls, requests, and complaints in assigned area.
• Additional tasks may be assigned at any time.

Summary:

The Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean, and they address all guest inquiries politely and knowledgeably.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare rooms for cleaning
• Make beds
• Dust rooms and furniture
• Replenish guestroom and bathroom supplies
• Clean the bathroom
• Clean the closet
• Vacuum and rack the carpet
• Check and secure the rooms
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g. iron and ironing boards)
• Ensure public areas, such as hallways, are cleaned and orderly
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods time
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Manage guest calls, requests, & complaints in the area assigned to them
• Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A secondary school diploma is preferred

• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products a plus
