Arbor Lodging is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant for Homewood Suites by Hilton Champaign Urbana. You will clean and service guest rooms to create a welcoming, comfortable experience, addressing inquiries courteously and knowledgeably.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, making beds, dusting, replenishing supplies, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and handling guest requests. A professional attitude and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma preferred.
• Hotel-related experience desired.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products a plus.
• Professional attitude required.

• Work independently and with a team.
• Manage guest calls, requests, and complaints in the assigned area.
• Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time.

Summary:

The Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Champaign Urbana is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean, and they address all guest inquiries politely and knowledgeably.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare rooms for cleaning

• Clean the closet
• Vacuum and rack the carpet

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods time
