Job summary

Home 2 Suites Doral/West Airport is seeking a diligent hotel housekeeper to maintain clean, well-organized rooms and public areas. You will bed make, clean bathrooms, replenish supplies, and report any maintenance needs, while ensuring high franchise standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include turning in lost and found items, operating a vacuum, and coordinating with housekeeping supervisors on issues and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow schedule and ability to perform physical labor.
• Knowledge of applicable franchise standards and procedures.
• Must have ability to positively communicate with guests and co-workers.
• Must have ability to complete applicable housekeeping forms and to communicate any problems and/or unusual conditions to Housekeeping supervisory staff.

Responsibilities

• Makes beds neatly with fresh sheets and pillow cases and cleans mirrors, shelves, baseboards and frames.
• Cleans bathrooms, scrubs and disinfects surfaces and tiles.
• Replenishes supplies and places clean towels, pens, soap, and tissue in rooms.
• Reports to the Inspectress all rooms vacated and cleaned, rooms occupied and cleaned, and any unusual condition.
• Turns in all lost and found articles immediately.
• Operates a light vacuum sweeper and maintains housekeeping forms.
• Fills out maintenance work orders notifying Maintenance and Housekeeping of issues.

Education
