Job summary

ARK Hospitality in Wichita, KS is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and public areas to our hotel’s exacting standards. You will make beds, do laundry, iron sheets, stock rooms, respond to guest inquiries, and coordinate with teammates to keep hallways, lobbies, and common areas pristine.

Starting pay is $13–$16 per hour, with reliable schedule a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Respond to general inquiries from guests
• Track rooms cleaned and document lost items, damage, and repairs
• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry

The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team-player, and a highly-organized professional.

• Respond to general inquiries from guests

• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned
• Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel’s standard before guests arrive
• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills

Compensation

$13 - $16 hourly
