Job summary

SpringHill Suites Troy Dayton is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms and public areas, contributing to a welcoming environment for guests and teammates alike.

As part of the hotel team, you will exercise physical stamina, attention to detail, and good time management to complete rooms efficiently. Both part-time and full-time shifts are available, with employee discounts and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform shifts on your feet.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Time management to complete rooms within the shift.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels and toiletries.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures to brand standards.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
• Restock in-room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and stationery.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items to the appropriate department promptly.
• Organize the linen closet and restock your cart at the end of each shift to prepare for the next day.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with any immediate needs or requests encountered during your shift

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for an entire shift, and bending, pushing, and pulling regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned rooms within the scheduled shift
• Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or custodial experience preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
