Job summary

Marriott Madison West - TSOL is seeking a friendly Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our hotel housekeeping team. We offer full-time and part-time positions with a pay rate of 16.00 USD per hour and a day shift from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Preferred: Housekeeping or laundry experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more.
• Remove soiled linens, towels, and trash from guest rooms.
• Make beds, replenish amenities, mop/vacuum floors, and clean all surfaces and furniture in guest rooms.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices.

• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
