Job summary

Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, a Marcus Hotels & Resorts property, is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to help create a clean, welcoming stay for guests in Madison. The role requires morning and weekend availability as part of a full-time schedule and pays about $18.00 per hour.

You will clean guest rooms, change linens, sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns. A positive attitude and reliability are essential to succeed in this team.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout shift.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred—but not required.
• Commitment to creating a warm, welcoming environment for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms efficiently and thoroughly within assigned time standards.
• Change bed linens, dust furniture, clean mirrors, and sanitize bathrooms and vanity areas.
• Vacuum carpets and maintain cleaning equipment daily.
• Restock housekeeping carts and closets with supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost and found items to your supervisor.
• Follow safety, key control, and uniform policies.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments.
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude while working in guest areas.

Located just steps from the Capitol and minutes from UW–Madison, Hilton Madison Monona Terrace is a vibrant hub for art, culture, and community. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Room Attendant to ensure guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and care.

What You’ll Do
