Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a House Attendant at the Residence Inn Richmond in Virginia. You will maintain cleanliness, transport items for guests, and support daily housekeeping operations to ensure a superior guest experience.

The role requires physical strength, the ability to stand for long periods, and clear communication with guests and team members. Prior hotel housekeeping exposure is a plus, with attention to safety and emergency procedures.”

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel/related field experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in the public areas according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo furniture as needed.
• Handle all luggage assistance requests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Manage Lost and Found items per hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as needed.
• Know and assist in all emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
• Store hotel equipment properly.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
