Job summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Taylors SC is seeking a dedicated Houseman to maintain hotel facilities in top condition. You will perform janitorial tasks across grounds, parking areas, public spaces, and guestrooms, and assist room attendants with cleanliness standards.

The role includes helping maintenance with minor repairs and handling work orders as needed. The position requires to understand and uphold the hotel’s mission, values, and culture at all times, with a schedule that may include

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent of same
• Must display professionalism and have characteristics of honesty and trustworthiness
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Maintains hotel grounds/curb appeal in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintains the parking lot/ramp including all pavement, lighting, stairs, elevators landings
• Ensures safety and maximum security
• Assists in maintaining areas of the hotel in a clean and orderly condition, (ex. associate lounge and locker room, public areas, stairwells, and back of the house area)
• Cleans and maintains pool and spa, handling all pool chemicals in a safe manner
• Assists the guestroom team-members as needed such as stocking room attendant carts, replenishing storage rooms with supplies, picking up trash from parking lot and grass areas
• Respond to guest requests such as delivering supplies and inquiries immediately.
