Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gainesville GA is seeking a part-time Houseman to maintain the hotel's grounds, public areas, guestrooms, and parking facilities. You will support room attendants and assist maintenance with minor repairs, delivering service with a friendly, professional attitude.

Weekend work is required; candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent of same.
• Must display professionalism and have characteristics of honesty and trustworthiness.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hotel grounds/curb appeal in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintains the parking lot/ramp including all pavement, lighting, stairs, elevators landings.
• Ensures safety and maximum security.
• Assist in maintaining areas of the hotel in a clean and orderly condition, (ex. associate lounge and locker room, public areas, stairwells, and back of the house area).
• Cleans and maintains pool and spa, handling all pool chemicals in a safe manner.
• Assists the guestroom team-members as needed such as stocking room attendant carts, replenishing storage rooms with supplies, picking up trash from parking lot and grass areas.
• Respond to guest requests such as delivering supplies and inquiries immediately.
• Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Other duties as assigned, of which the associate is capable of performing.
