Job summary

Ascent Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the Hampton Inn in Enterprise, AL. This onsite, full-time role puts you in charge of day-to-day operations, financial performance, team development, and guest satisfaction.

You will drive brand standards, manage budgeting and forecasting, and build a high-performing team while cultivating a positive culture across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
• 4-5 years of hotel management experience, GM or senior leadership preferred.
• Experience with branded hotel environments.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls.
• Proficiency with MS Office and hotel operating systems.

Ascent Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven General Manager to lead the Hampton Inn in Enterprise, AL.

As General Manager, you will take ownership of the hotel's day-to-day operations, financial performance, team development, and guest satisfaction, while creating a culture where employees feel supported, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and oversee all hotel operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing hotel team
• Establish clear expectations and hold department leaders accountable for results
• Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and brand standards
• Manage hotel financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor, and controllable expenses
• Monitor P&L performance, revenue, occupancy, ADR, and other key hotel metrics
• Partner with Sales and operational leaders to maximize revenue and business opportunities
• Build strong relationships with guests, team members, ownership, brand partners, and the local community
• Ensure compliance with Hampton by Hilton brand standards, company policies, and applicable regulations
• Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, payroll, and operational efficiency
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure the hotel is consistently clean, safe, and well maintained
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
• Create a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement
• Participate in and support company initiatives, training, and leadership programs

What We’re Looking For:

• 4-5 years of hotel management experience, with previous General Manager or senior leadership experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience with a branded hotel environment preferred
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, and guest service
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
• Strong knowledge of hotel P&L, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls
• Results-oriented leader with a track record of achieving operational and financial goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make sound decisions and effectively manage competing priorities
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel operating systems
• Experience with Hilton systems is a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred
