Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Omaha, NE seeks a General Manager to oversee the full operation of the hotel and all outlets, including hotel operations, F&B, sales, engineering, HR and accounting. The GM will lead the management team, drive revenues, ensure compliance, and maintain guest satisfaction in a fast-paced 24/7 environment, with a focus on mentoring leaders and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related business field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Rooms and/or Food & Beverage functions.
• Strong business communication skills verbal and written.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to lead team at leadership and hourly level.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Some travel may be required.
• Regular attendance according to established guidelines.
• Professional image and confidentiality with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Practice a culture of guest service in all you do; promote courtesy and a positive attitude.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring satisfaction in each interaction.
• Coordinate special programs, functions and incentives to improve guest service.
• Lead the Executive Committee to reach property goals.
• Develop and assure achievement of hotel revenues and profits using forecasting and P&L management.
• Ensure the property is compliant in all departments and grows the business year over year.
• Maintain product quality to support future bookings and pricing goals.
• Coach and develop leaders to exceed performance expectations.
