Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a Front Desk Supervisor for the DoubleTree Manchester Downtown. You will supervise daily front desk operations, support a busy desk team, and ensure a high level of guest service from arrival to departure.

Required: a minimum of 3 years hotel front desk experience and full availability for second shift, seven days a week. Compensation is $20.50 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities across a large portfolio.

• Must have full availability for second shift 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the Front Desk and bell station to ensure high guest service.
• Resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous CARE attitude.
• Train new employees in hotel procedures and provide feedback to the department manager.
• Provide sales information to guests, assist in upgrading rooms and maximizing hotel revenue.
• Ensure safety rules and housekeeping are followed and maintain stock levels in the Maid Market.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

• Assists in supervising the daily operation of the Front Desk Supervise and ensure high level of guest service at the desk and bell station.
• Resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous “CARE” attitude.
• Ensure completion of the daily tasks by the Front Desk staff.
• Supervise and maintain procedures for monies, guest security, and emergency situations.
• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service.
• Provides sales information to guests, assists in upgrading rooms and achieving maximum hotel revenue.
• Responsible for training new employees in hotel procedure and providing feedback to the department manager for employee reviews.
• Trained in the Reservation and Night Audit responsibilities.
• Practices courtesy and cooperates with co-workers, management, and guests.
• Follows safety rules and practices good housekeeping.
• Ensures the Maid Market is properly stocked and updated throughout the shift.
• Keep Front Office Manager updated on all stock that is running low.
