Job description

Provide guests with a friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experience. Offer general information regarding hotel, amenities, and special events.

  1. Sell rooms utilizing excellent customer service skills and yield management.
  2. Resolve customer complaints and answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, events, directions, local attractions, etc., in a friendly, professional manner.
  3. Complete all registration forms and input data into the computer.
  4. Retrieve and distribute room keys.
  5. Calculate and print hotel bills, accept payment for various room charges using standard cash and credit procedures.
  6. Communicate with Executive Hosts regarding hotel stays.
  7. Utilize computer to run necessary reports.
  8. Balance all transactions at the end of shift (audit out).
  9. Operate manual procedures in case of computer failure.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months front desk experience.
  2. Ability to operate basic office machines, computers, and telephones.
  3. Effective communication skills in English with guests and staff.
  4. Knowledge of hotel key system.
  5. Flexibility to work various shifts.
  6. Ability to stand for long periods.
  7. Attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  8. Ability to add, subtract, and audit accounts.
  9. Experience with money handling and operating electronic draft systems.
  10. Proficiency with LMS, CMS, and Hot Sauce/Espresso systems.
  11. Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications/licenses per local gaming regulations.
