Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts, overseeing the Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans French Quarter, seeks an Assistant Director of Finance to direct hotel financial activities, safeguard assets and prepare GAAP-compliant reports.

Role involves managing accounts receivable and cash flow, budgeting, staff scheduling, nightly audit, and supervision of accounting staff while ensuring accuracy and SOP compliance. Strong Excel and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting from an accredited program.
• At least one year of experience in hotel/hospitality finance.
• Strong knowledge of hotel financial statements and A/R/A/L reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Finance in directing hotel financial activities.
• Perform accounting functions and monitor expenditures within budget.
• Schedule and supervise accounting associates and night audit coverage.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Oversee accounts receivable, cash flow, and general ledger reconciliation.
