Job summary

Crystal Creek Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Assistant Controller to manage day-to-day accounting and month-end close for the AC Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, including related properties as needed. You will partner with the General Manager and department heads to ensure policy adherence and strong financial performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing AP/AR, cash handling, payroll accuracy, tax filings, and cross-functional support for system implementations and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance preferred, or combination of education and experience.
• GAAP knowledge and hotel accounting practices.
• Experience with PMS, POS, and hotel accounting systems (M3, Opera, Sage).
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and month-end closing processes for the hotel portfolio.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and assist with budgets/forecasts.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure payroll, taxes, and vendor contracts are processed accurately and timely.
