Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional to supervise accounting operations, assist with payroll, AR/AP, and internal controls. The role includes analyzing entries, preparing statements, and supporting cost analyses for decision making.

The position requires a four-year degree in Accounting or related experience, with hospitality industry exposure preferred. Candidates should be proficient in Excel and capable of leading a small team in a fast-paced hotel

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree (Accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in hospitality or related organizations is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of finance principles within hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Train, direct the work, resolve problems, and assist with hiring and performance reviews of accounting staff.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile daily postings, accruals, general ledger accounts, and bank statements.
• Analyze period-end data on costs and inventories to provide information and recommendations to management.
• May supervise accounts receivable function and oversee credit/collection and F&B control functions.
• Review and monitor internal control procedures across Finance functions.
