Ideal candidates have extensive hotel finance experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with management and staff.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience as a Director of Finance or Controller in a full-service hotel.
• Must read, write and speak the English language fluently.
• Brand experience preferred; must be available to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs the financial activities of the hotel.
• Safeguards the assets and prepares financial reports per GAAP and Crescent Standards.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff; communicate openly and discipline as needed.
• Monitor and approve all sales, purchases, salaries and expenses of the hotel.
• Prepare, review and present the Monthly Report of Operations.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets; oversee contracts, licenses, insurance and permits.
• Establish and audit internal financial controls including cash handling and time records.
• Communicate clearly to staff and ensure attendance and reliability.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
