Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown. You will ensure proper functioning of hotel facilities, perform routine maintenance, respond to guest room issues, and execute repairs to keep the property in top condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort preferred.
• Knowledge of household repairs is a must.
• Able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work and HVAC system maintenance.
• Address guest room issues and respond to maintenance requests.
• Make structural repairs to masonry, woodwork and furnishings, patch or replace plaster, paint walls, ceilings and trim.
• Cut and lay flooring.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems.
• Maintain a log of all work performed including parts needed and/or parts used on all work requests.
• Follow work order procedures.
• Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.
