Scope and Responsibilities
  • Keep all equipment and work areas clean, neat, and orderly at all times
  • Maintain safety as the top priority, wearing appropriate PPE and following SOPs
  • Follow applicable building codes, regulations, and LEGOLAND California policies
  • Assist in maintenance‐related tasks as needed by the department
  • Ensure compliance with internal maintenance, safety and security procedures (ASTM, NEC, electrical codes, loss prevention guidelines)
  • Respond to emergency calls for repairs and maintenance directed by the maintenance supervisor
  • Report equipment needs for repair, replacement, or adjustment to the supervisor
  • Keep tools, machines, and all other company equipment in clean, proper working order
  • Attend department training, supplemental courses and seminars to stay updated on technical information and products
  • Serve as a liaison with fellow maintenance MCs and other departments
Essential Job Functions
  • Keep safety as the #1 priority by wearing PPE and following SDS instructions
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and other state/local regulations
  • Follow established maintenance programs, including emergency repairs to reduce downtime
  • Operate simple machine tools (drill presses, power saws, grinders, power drills, hand tools)
  • Identify, repair, and replace equipment as necessary while reporting to supervisor
  • Stay informed on modern techniques and technical methods
  • Work outdoors in any weather condition and stand or walk for long periods
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

The schedule for this position is primarily evenings and weekends.

Background and Experience
  • Minimum of four years of facilities maintenance and repair experience
  • At least four years of construction experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair practices, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to remain calm and rational under pressure or in emergency situations
  • Proficient in reading and evaluating reports, correspondence, blueprints, and basic math skills
  • Guest service-oriented demeanor
  • High school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent education and experience)

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support resort operations.

Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Pay Range

Compensation between USD $23.00/Hr. and USD $23.00/Hr.
