Scope and Responsibilities
- Keep all equipment and work areas clean, neat, and orderly at all times
- Maintain safety as the top priority, wearing appropriate PPE and following SOPs
- Follow applicable building codes, regulations, and LEGOLAND California policies
- Assist in maintenance‐related tasks as needed by the department
- Ensure compliance with internal maintenance, safety and security procedures (ASTM, NEC, electrical codes, loss prevention guidelines)
- Respond to emergency calls for repairs and maintenance directed by the maintenance supervisor
- Report equipment needs for repair, replacement, or adjustment to the supervisor
- Keep tools, machines, and all other company equipment in clean, proper working order
- Attend department training, supplemental courses and seminars to stay updated on technical information and products
- Serve as a liaison with fellow maintenance MCs and other departments
Essential Job Functions
- Keep safety as the #1 priority by wearing PPE and following SDS instructions
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and other state/local regulations
- Follow established maintenance programs, including emergency repairs to reduce downtime
- Operate simple machine tools (drill presses, power saws, grinders, power drills, hand tools)
- Identify, repair, and replace equipment as necessary while reporting to supervisor
- Stay informed on modern techniques and technical methods
- Work outdoors in any weather condition and stand or walk for long periods
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
The schedule for this position is primarily evenings and weekends.
Background and Experience
- Minimum of four years of facilities maintenance and repair experience
- At least four years of construction experience
- Knowledge of mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair practices, tools, and equipment
- Ability to remain calm and rational under pressure or in emergency situations
- Proficient in reading and evaluating reports, correspondence, blueprints, and basic math skills
- Guest service-oriented demeanor
- High school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent education and experience)
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support resort operations.
Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Pay Range
Compensation between USD $23.00/Hr. and USD $23.00/Hr.
