Job summary

LEGOLAND Parks in the Town of Goshen is looking for a Facility Maintenance team member to maintain cleanliness and perform minor repairs. Responsibilities include performing upkeep of buildings, driving trucks, and ensuring a clean park environment.

What You'll Bring to the Team

At LEGOLAND New York Resort, you’ll join a vibrant team that handles all sanitation for the back‑of‑house areas in the resort and performs minor facility repairs within the park.

About the Role

The Facility Maintenance Team keeps the resort running smoothly by maintaining a clean, safe environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Ability to drive a pickup truck with trailer and operate both automatic and manual transmission.
• Responsible for emptying trash cans along the designated back‑of‑house route.
• Move trash receptacles from designated stops to the waste transfer station.
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep of all buildings.
• Assist Utility Technicians with specialized repairs and maintenance.
• Operate leaf blowers and power washers to aid overall resort cleanliness.
• Notify leadership team of any equipment or facility problems for corrective action.
• Perform related work on projects as deemed necessary or required.
• Respond to any other duties as directed by your manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to effectively follow directions, observe, and remember details.
• Maintain a friendly, polite, service‑oriented demeanor.
• Effective decision‑making skills.
• Must speak and read basic English.
• Understand and follow directions.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Heavy lifting of over 50 lbs. is required.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of small engine equipment is preferred:
  1. Power washers
  2. Leaf blowers
  3. Street sweepers
  4. Trash compactors and receptacle tippers
  5. Basic small‑tool knowledge
