Job summary

Avion Hospitality in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Hotel Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of the hotel's facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and guest comfort.

You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, implement preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets and procurement, and collaborate with other departments on projects to keep the property well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or engineering management, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety standards.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance and engineering activities across the hotel property.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure longevity and performance of equipment.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing training and evaluations.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other building systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets, procurement, and inventory.
