Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Crabtree seeks an Assistant Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance team. You will support preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and information systems to keep the hotel guest-ready.

Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, assisting with inspections per NC OSHA, managing inventory and work orders, and coordinating with contractors. A high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months related experience are required; weekend/holiday availability is

High School diploma or GED required.
6–12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain preventive maintenance schedule daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Maintain an efficient electronic and hardcopy filing system for preventive maintenance tasks.
Assist with inspections (city, state, and federal) and keep records of compliant/non-compliant actions.
Maintain an efficient emergency action plan and safety protocols per NC OSHA.
Maintain inventory control for general maintenance supplies and tools.
Coordinate with contractors and schedule work outside of preventive maintenance scope.
Support staff on technical or labor-intensive projects and provide necessary tools.
