Job summary

VIPCor Hotel LLC DBA City Express Corvallis is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Team Lead to direct hotel property operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool care. You will run preventive maintenance, supervise techs, and ensure compliance with brand standards and safety regulations.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial building maintenance (hotel experience preferred), with certifications in HVAC/EPA and CPO preferred or achievable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive commercial building maintenance experience (hotel facilities management preferred).
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting/drywall, and related systems.
• HVAC/EPA Universal Certification and CPO designation preferred (or obtainable within 90 days).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces over extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily maintenance work orders for guest rooms, public spaces, and exteriors.
• Oversee operation, troubleshooting, and repair of core building systems (HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing).
• Establish and enforce a Preventive Maintenance schedule across all areas.
• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and groundskeepers.
• Solicit bids and manage third-party vendor contracts (elevators, fire systems, waste management, landscaping).
• Maintain records of inspections, life safety testing, and equipment warranties.
• Lead property fire safety systems oversight, life safety drills, OSHA compliance, and SDS management.
• Monitor energy usage, manage tool/part inventories, and control repair budgets.
