Job summary

The Engineer, Level 2 at Residence Inn Windsor is responsible for keeping the property in top condition with minimal guest disruption. This role performs preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical systems, and more, and reads blueprints to troubleshoot issues.

You will inspect and repair air conditioning, plumbing, paint, fixtures, locks, and pools, maintain maintenance logs, and assist in supervising other staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; one year in a hotel or related field required.
• Two years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Trade school and/or college coursework in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel systems (air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Repair and program hotel electronic lock systems and sensors.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Assist in supervising other engineering staff and scheduling tasks.
